Woodworking is my passion and it’s a shame that we don’t talk about it more. However, Bora Tool informed me today of their new Bora 3.25hp fixed-base router for woodworking friends.
Bora had an existing router with a 3.25 HP motor, but it was only the motor unit that had to be mounted on a stand or lift in order to be useable. Bora gave it a base so that it can be used alone for freehand routing. What we have here is that combination and its model number is the PM-6250 which is not different from the motor unit by itself which is the PM-6200.
Bora includes a single base and its a fixed base. Of course you can still dial in the cutting depth but a fixed base means it doesnt have the plunging action of a plunging base.
Motor unit at the top of routers, 3.25 HP. This is due to its 15 amp motor. It’s a big boi but powerful enough to be used
