Keep A Pencil Sharpener Right At Your Fingertips

Sometimes, great woodworking tools come in very small packages , and at a very small price.

A few of the GripSharp pencil grips and pencil sharpeners were just sent to us. They can be used over any standard pencil’s business end. The sharpener can be used to remove wood from pencils but the blade does not touch graphite. This leaves graphite that is slightly longer than the supporting wood. However, the GripSharp remains in place and supports graphite.

If you pull the GripSharp off of the pencil, the marking end will look strange (and snap off easily), but why would you? GripSharp gives you a comfortable and ergonomic grip. Plus, it keeps a sharpener at your fingertips.

However, because the GripSharp removes only wood, it doesnt provide a sharp pencil point on the graphite. So if you use a pencil for, say, marking out dovetails, youll still want a mechanical pencil (we like .5 mm, high-polymer graphite) on hand. The GripSharp produces a thick point and is ideal for making rough cuts with any pencil.

You can get it in many colors. For more information, visit the companys web site (gripsharpco.com).
