It was just last week that we learned that Hikoki (Metabo HPT) had released a cordless metal cutting circular saw using a 7-1/10 cm blade which is larger than the traditional 13 cm and 15 cm blades other cordless models use but now we learn that Milwaukee has just announced a new cordless metal cutting saw that doesnt use a similar 7-1/10 cm blade but a larger 20 cm blade. The Milwaukee M18 Fuel 20cm Metal Cutting Circular Saw 2982-21.
Milwaukee says that this metal cutting circular saw generates similar power to a 15 amp corded model. It is designed to work in the most difficult applications such as angle iron, 3 cm plate steel and corrugated decking.
According to them, their M18 FUEL cordless technology allows them to produce a 20 cm metal cutting circular saw that is faster than corded and has a greater cutting capacity than cordless.
Per charge, the runtime can reach 305 cm of corrugated decking. Additional features include an Overload indicator light that illuminates when the user pushes the saw too hard, and a blade shield with integrated chip collection that deflects and collects metal sparks and chips.
The new Milwaukee M18 Fuel 20 cm metal cutting circular saw will be available April 2022 and will retail for (Bare Tool), (Kit).
